By using our Services, LeagueTennis.com requires acceptance the following Waiver and Release covering all participants in LeagueTennis.com Leagues and Tournaments (“League”).

Acceptance of my entry in this League is without assumption or responsibility of any kind by LeagueTennis.com, or the management of any facility where I may participate. In consideration of the acceptance of my registration, I do hereby for and on behalf of myself, and my heirs and my legal representatives release and forever discharge LeagueTennis.com, their officers, employees, insurers, sponsors, partners, advertisers, and representatives, of and from any and all claims and damages, losses or injuries, temporary or permanent, which I may suffer or sustain in connection with my activities during the period of time for this League, any period traveling to and from the League matches, and I hereby waive and release all claims, and I covenant not to sue.

By participating in the League, I hereby represent that I agree to the terms and conditions of the above stated waiver and release.

By participating in the League, I hereby represent that all players I am registering have reviewed and agree to the terms and conditions of the LeagueTennis.com waiver and release.

By participating in the League, I hereby represent that my parent or legal guardian, as listed on my profile, acting in such capacity, has reviewed and agrees to the terms and conditions of the above stated waiver and release.

Our information gathering and dissemination practices for the LeagueTennis.com Website are summarized as follows:

LeagueTennis.com does not know about you personally unless you create a profile on our Website. After you create a profile, we use the information you provided us as well as the information about your use of the Website to provide you better service (such as contacting you to advise you of events such as schedules posted, match deadlines, etc.). We may occasionally release information in aggregate form to partners. An example of aggregate information would be “10,000 of our members in the Houston area have expressed interest in advanced tennis clinics in their area.” These aggregate releases will never identify you personally, nor will they be traceable to you personally, nor will they provide your contact information. LeagueTennis.com collects aggregate information site-wide, including anonymous site statistics, and if available, originating domain names and/or IP addresses. This is anonymous information - it tells us how people in general are using LeagueTennis.com; it tells us nothing about you personally. For example, we may track how many people visited the news page and when they visited, but we do not track who is visiting each page.

On certain pages such as member profiles and registration forms, we ask members to provide personal information, including their names, email addresses, contact information, birth date and various other kinds of information. This personally identifiable information cannot be gathered without your active permission and participation. This personal information is collected from you solely for the purpose of allowing you to register for the appropriate leagues and interact with other players you are scheduled to play as well as to provide you with occasional email notifications of upcoming LeagueTennis.com leagues and events. For example, we collect gender, region, and birth date solely to ensure that a “female, 18 or older, who lives in Houston” is only shown available leagues for adult women in the greater Houston metro area. We collect multiple email addresses and phone numbers to provide you and your opponents the ability to contact each other to schedule matches. We do not provide your contact information to players you are not scheduled to play.

LeagueTennis.com encourages players to submit their personal comments, tennis-related photos and videos to us. By submitting comments, photos, and videos and other materials, you are authorizing our unrestricted use of the material. This includes but is not limited to the LeagueTennis.com website, monthly newsletter, marketing materials, advertising, related articles, press releases, radio spots, television segments, and our social media pages. These submissions will not be sold or otherwise used except in the promotion of our Website.

Information Explicitly Provided by You

Profile - Our site provides free, voluntary creation of a profile to users. By creating a profile, you can access the password protected areas of the site and get email notifications of upcoming LeagueTennis.com leagues and events. This voluntary profile asks for your name, email addresses, contact information, birth date and various other kinds of information. We also require you to provide a password.

League Registration - To participate in a league, we require payment of a registration fee. This requires payment information (such as complete billing address, credit card number, etc.). We do not store your payment information on our site. Your payment is processed by Authorize.net using SSL encryption technology to protect your transaction information. Such shared information is protected by our agreement with Authorize.net. IP Address – LeagueTennis.com may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our Web site, and to track sessions. We do not link IP addresses to personally identifiable information.

LeagueTennis.com may be required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to provide personally identifiable information to the appropriate governmental authorities. If such information is properly requested by those authorities we are bound to provide it.

LeagueTennis.com reserves the right to send emails to users with an active profile. This includes, but is not limited to, service update notifications, registration confirmation, registration reminders, event reminders, and customer support messages to inform you of specific changes that may impact your ability to use a service for which you have signed up. This site contains links to other sites. LeagueTennis.com cannot be responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any of these other sites. Generally, we will let you know when a link will take you to another site. Typically, these sites will open up in a new browser window to help you identify them.
